after5
Wow, I got this place at $41 a night (9/18-9/22) and feel screwed. First time I have ever been disappointed with Priceline.Went by to check it out and the online postings are spot on, this place is a dump.No towels in the room and none available at the front desk.Toenails on the floor. Unidentifiable funk in the bathroom. The breakfast, well I ate at Tom Horton instead. No parking close to my building.Dead bird floating in the pool. This franchisee should be shot or removed from Wyndham. I have stayed in better Motel 6 properties. They must have a deal on Sec. 8 housing as there on lots of "residents" in this extended stay property that look like they have been there a few years.Called Priceline in advance to get another property, but all I got was "No refund, no changes." Alienated and pissed off a recurring customer over $200, stupid.Lower the stars to 2* and stay at the Candlewood right around the corner. Much nicer and newer.I'm going to try and stomach the remaining 3 nights. Link to comment
kjsusa
Yes, I was afraid of this. I found their reviews on Tripadvisor as well. I even sent a letter of concern with Priceline and received their patter letters back in response. It may be closer to a 1 star. Link to comment
kjsusa
OK, after my stay, it was really a 1.5 star hotel, at the most 2 star. It is not a 2.5 star property. I was fine staying there, however, I wouldn't want my Mom staying in this place (dimmed lighting, makes on the walls, and no dusting in areas for quite some time (above the shower). Link to comment
