octobernewyork Posted September 17, 2011 Report Posted September 17, 2011 we have been bidding on two rooms in midtown manhattan- times square, south central park, hell's kitchen, etc, for 1 night, oct 20th, and haven't had luck for the last few days. we have tried 3 star for $100, 4 star for $200.. a few different options, trying different zoens at a time. my question is if name your own price rates go down more towards the date when they want to book the last few rooms at a lower rate, or if earlier in advance is the better rate if they have more rooms to fill? not sure if we should keep tring lower rates, bid higher now, or wait until before our trip. thanks for your help!
