Hotwire Hotel: 4* Austin (Downtown-Town Lake) ATandT Conference Center

Hey all, I just booked for $132 each for 2 nights (9/24/2011 and 9/25/2011) for downtown Austin and received this:

AT&T Hotel and Conference Center at the University of Texas

So if you see the 90% approval rating on a 4* with Fitness, Restaurant, Pool, Business, there's a good chance it's this one.

The reason I warn you is that this is NOT exactly downtown, and is not walking distance from any of the good stuff. It's north by the UT campus. I'm a bit annoyed by this, but that's the risk in working with Hotwire. I was hoping for basically anything but this (even the Hyatt is across the river but closer than this).

It must be nice since the approval rating is high, but if you want to be close to the nightlife, this is not the one.
