Advertised rate was $249 per night. I started my bid at $60 and increased my bid until I had exhausted all of my chances without changing the star rating, ended with a $95 bid that was not accepted. I waited the required 24 hours to bid again. The following day my opening bid was $100 - rejected, but I was offered a one-time immediate rebid without having to make a change if I would increase my bid by $17. I declined. I added a new zone & rebid at $103... offer accepted! And to top it off I got the hotel I really wanted!!! MARRIOTT WATERFRONT.
