Priceline Hotel: October in Key West

We are planning to go to Key West in October (not Fantasy fair). We are driving from Miami. We need safe, clean, Not right over the bars. We would like Ocean view, pool, suite if possible. How do I tell what I am getting and what I should bid.

A few notes:

With PRICELINE, you have to be willing to accept a hotel anywhere within the zone you bid on - if you bid for a 4* in a particular area (for example), you have to be willing to accept any 4* in the zone.)

HOTWIRE and PRICELINE reservations are for regular rooms, not for upgraded rooms such as ocean view. One can try to negotiate with the hotel after purchase to see if upgrades are available, but it's up to the hotel and they can say no.

There is no way to bid on a suite (or hotel with a specific amenity) via PRICELINE; with HOTWIRE you can search for a listing with a "S" (Suite) icon, but there is no guarantee that one will be available in the area you search for on your dates. You can also search for a hotel with a pool icon. If the hotel doesn't show a particular icon, then it is not guaranteed to have it. Additionally, with a "Suite" icon, these are "all-suite" properties, not upgraded suites at a regular property.

How many people are in your party? PRICELINE reservations are guaranteed for double occupancy/1 bed; With HOTWIRE, you can indicate the amount of people in your party and then have the appropriate bedding for the party.
