Spinner Posted September 8, 2011 Report Posted September 8, 2011 Hi all,Four of us are travelling to Zurich on Sunday 16th October for one night. Ideally we need four single beds, but two of us would share if needed, so we need minimum 3 beds.Would like somewhere fairly central, ideally not too far from the Zurich HB railway station. Can walk a bit though (so long as it is not in the airport area, for instance.)Crowne Plaza seems a reasonable rate - about 184CHF on Venere for two twin rooms =

valencia Posted September 10, 2011 Report Posted September 10, 2011 anything on hotwire ? If you put in three adults you will be given two beds.
thereuare Posted September 10, 2011 Report Posted September 10, 2011 ...no successful bids, gone up to $65 per room = $214 total (3 rooms). So budget then comes down to $210 = $70 per room... after taxes.Your $65 bid, which was rejected, would exceed your $70 all-in rate, so at the moment it would appear that the Crowne Plaza would be your best option. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases., or our Crowne Plaza link if you book direct.Let us know what you ultimately decide or if we can be of further help. Spinner Posted September 10, 2011 Author Report Posted September 10, 2011 anything on hotwire ? If you put in three adults you will be given two beds.We need minimum three, preferably four beds, so I think we'd have to book 2 rooms for 5 adults to get enough beds.Your $65 bid, which was rejected, would exceed your $70 all-in rate, so at the moment it would appear that the Crowne Plaza would be your best option.Yes, Crowne Plaza looks the best option at the moment. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the rate I had quoted before (~$105) on Venere.
Spinner Posted September 11, 2011 Author Report Posted September 11, 2011 Hi,I made a final bid of $71 on Priceline for 4*, but got rejected. Instead I went and booked the Crowne Plaza with a 10% discount code I found online, works out at about
