I was trying to bid on 4-5 star in the North Strip zone, and I selected the Summerlin zone on my final re-bid, which appeared to have nothing above 3.5 stars. To my dismay, I won a hotel in the Summerlin zone, which is no where near the strip. Unfortunately, I did not do enough research and did not no know about the Resort upgrade option and that Resorts do not carry a specific star rating. Summerlin is the only zone in Vegas that has a Resort. Really wished I would have read this board a bit more before bidding, and I probably would have seen the other posts regarding this very topic and would have stayed away from Summerlin.Needless to say, I will not be staying at this property, and will be out about $400. I did call priceline and of course they wouldn't budge. They did offer me a credit for $10/night on my next purchase for up to 5 nights, which is pretty worthless in my opinion. I know it's my own fault, but I still feel a little deceived. Link to comment

Leave the attitude and indignation at the door. They will occasionally make an exception of charging you a one time fee of $25 to cancel this reservation ONLY if you are successful bidding for then same dates of travel. Good luck, and make this call immediately.
