Been trying for a while to book a room in the downtown zone for a friend's wedding. Tried bidding 4* up to $70, rejected. Tried bidding 3* up to $55, rejected. Saw ooglas' post for 9/16 @ $71 so figured I was going to have to up-the-ante over the amounts that usually win in this zone.

Tried bidding $71 for a 3*, was rejected but received a counter offer asking for $82. I declined the rebid offer, added a free rebid zone, bid $75 and won. Cost a bit more than normal but still better than the $109 rate for the wedding block rate.
