Bowicz Posted September 7, 2011 Report Posted September 7, 2011 Hi, this is my first post.I am looking for a hotel in NYC for this weekend, preferably around Times Square. There is one listed on Hotwire. 4* Times Square Theatre District Hotel, 100% Recommended for 254.00. Amenities include Business Center, Restaurants, Fitness Centre, High Speed Internet Access. Do you have any idea what hotel this could be.Since this is my first time doing this, I don't know if I should wait and try Priceline to get a better deal in the next day or so or grab this one.Thank you for your help.
thereuare Posted September 7, 2011 Report Posted September 7, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding! There is no telling if rates will come down, or move even higher, in the next few days. This is the 10 year anniversary of the terrorist attacks and this will likely be bringing more people to the city, so that's something to keep in mind if you decide to wait.HOWEVER, i'm not currently seeing this property offered when searching HOTWIRE for your dates... are you still seeing this on your own search? If so, are you searching for more than one room or for something other than the default of 2adults/0children.I'll add that i am seeing a 4* hotel in the ESB zone with Boutique, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business and a very high 4.5/5.0 Tripadvisor rating. I'm guessing that this may be the Hotel Chandler upgraded to the 4* level since it was last reported to the board, and given the high TA rating, at $206 may be a very good value for this stay. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.
