Priceline Hotel: 5* Melbourne (City Centre) Marriott Melbourne

Marriott Melbourne looks to be *5 now from previous reports which had it as a *4. Starting bidding *5 at $130, $140, $150, and then $160. Only one zone available so I had to reduce the number of nights staying for the rebids. Won one night at $160. It didn't allow me to extend so I bid again for 2 more nights, $155 and then $160 which was accepted. Marriott website showed the price for these nights at $288 and PL shows it for $257. I couldn't extend again so I bid again for my last night that I needed. It didn't accept the $160 bid. The Marriott website said no rooms were available for Friday, 11/17/11 and PL showed it for $547 so I will try to book my last night elsewhere. This is my first time bidding in Australia. I do miss the rebid zones :-(
