aaw Posted September 6, 2011 Report Posted September 6, 2011 I started with a 4-star hotel in the "Millennium Park, Loop & Grant Park Area" and bid for 7 nights (11/26 Sat to 12/3 Sat) at $80 per night. This was rejected, as a large radiology meeting was to take place in town that week.I then went with a 4-star hotel in the "Millennium Park, Loop & Grant Park Area" and bid for 3 nights at $85 per night (taxes and fees of $16.22 per night will added later) from 11/3 Wed to 12/3 Sat, and this bid was accepted immediately. I was then offered a one-time deal to extend my stay at the same rate, and so I added 3 more nights from 11/27 Sun to 11/30 Wed. Total with tax $607.32
AaronJB Posted September 6, 2011 Report Posted September 6, 2011 Congrats on your success and Welcome to Betterbidding. :)This is a really, really nice win for this Renaissance property, which is located right on the river - head North and go over the river and you're in the very nice River North area, which has a ton of restaurants and nightlife options.Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.

AaronJB Posted September 6, 2011 Report Posted September 6, 2011 is the option to extend stay always there? im trying to attend a conference 10/14-10/19The option to extend your stay is always *listed* as an option on your reservation, but you have to attempt it and then find out whether it's available for your particular dates or not; it will either be available, not be available or may require a higher price.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
