I was wondering if you could help me figure out what hotels these would be. We are a three people travelling to New York City on 09/22/2011 - 09/25/2011.

Thank you! Would this be a decent hotel and better than the Sheraton hotel and towers,

Doubletree Hilton in Chelsea or Hilton Garden Inn West 35th st? Or would the financial district hotels be a better bet?

It's difficult to compare hotels, as opinions can differ significantly, especially for hotels like those in NYC, where high prices can understandably create certain expectations.

The Doubletree in Chelsea and Sheraton NYC are technically more upscale properties, but the Sheraton does get some mixed reviews; the Doubletree (which is a somewhat newer hotel) gets better reviews. It's hard to compare the downtown hotels overall as there are so many hotels of varying quality. The Hilton Garden Inn gets slightly better reviews than the HI Express, but I think the breakfast of the HI Express creates added value.
