BMeeks Posted September 1, 2011 Report Posted September 1, 2011 2.5* Hotwire Given InfoAmmenities: smoke free, breakfast, pool, interwebs without wires$63 @ 15:05CST 9/1/11 $79 with taxes and feesHotel Info & Research (Post-Purchase)Country Inn and Suites (internet price on hotel site $80 - $93 with tax for a 2-queen open room or $90 - $114 with tax for a 1BR (assume king)/ Sofa Sleeper)OpinionNot a great deal IMO, but I'll take the $14-35 it saved me. I've stayed at Country Inns before and they seem to be very nice. Good info to add to the Hotwire hotels sticky since nothing exists on the list for Manchester.

BMeeks Posted September 18, 2011 Author Report Posted September 18, 2011 After staying at this property, there is NO WAY I would consider it comparable to other CI&S properties or other 2.5 star hotwire properties (such as holiday inn express). The mattresses in this hotel were run of the mill $199 squeaky queen mattresses. The guest laundry was a coin operated W/D but the dryer was broken because someone had pried the coin drawer out of it which became a big issue when we needed to wash the baby's clothes, car seat cover, head rest, blanket, etc. after she got sick about 20 miles from the hotel. The staff was very helpful however. I can't speak for the breakfast because we had to leave prior to 7am (weekend breakfast start time)As a side note for this particular hotel, I'd suggest to avoid room 127 if you can. This is a double queen room at the end of a hall that has a very loud entry door backing the headboard side of the room and the window is right next to the door so you hear people approaching, opening the door, door slamming behind them, and walking down the long and short sides of the room!
AaronJB Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 Thank you for the follow-up review, although sorry to hear that this was a disappointing stay. :)
