Priceline Hotel: 4* Newark (Jersey City) Westin

We are doing the macys parade at thanksgiving.

Checking in Nov 23 and out 28th. I would be interested in staying in a 4* in jersey city if it has easy access to get in and out of manhattan. I would also stay in manhattan somewhere. Budget is <$300 per night but if I am not looking to overspend so if I find something for less that would be great. 2 adults and 2 kids (4 & 8) 2 beds would be preferred.

Please send advice on where to bid and I will click the links, etc..

Just a follow-up .

I used the PRICELINE link on this board and started my bid @ 145 a night for jersey city.

I was rejected, added another zone, and rebid @ 155

I was rejected, added another zone, and rebid @ 165 per night and won the Westin Jersey City. This will be fine for visiting the city. Thanks for all the info on this board.

That is for Nov 23rd for 5 nights.

I had also tried Manhattan directly with midtown west (165) , times square(175), central park south (185) , midtown east up to $195 per night and was rejected. Past that and I could book the Waldorf directly for $225
