MPileggi Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 Hi there! It's been quite a while since I last used the links through betterbidding.com. I'll be heading to San Juan next spring and would like to target the Sheraton Old San Juan Hotel and Casino. Based on the postings on this site, it's listed as a 3.5* hotel. However, when I go through the HOTWIRE web site link and plot in my date, only 4*, 3* and lower show up, nothing with 3.5*. Does this mean this particular hotel is not showing up or not available? Thanks,Monica
thereuare Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 Welcome Back! :)If no 3.5* properties are showing on your search, the HOTWIRE likely does not currently have any inventory for 3.5* hotels in this zone at this time. What are the dates you're searching for? Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
MPileggi Posted September 1, 2011 Author Report Posted September 1, 2011 Hi, I'm looking for the 27th of April next spring. My friends booked two rooms using Sheraton points (with me giving my friend $120 for deluxe kin room) but wondering if we would get a better deal since a fellow cruiser got the same hotel recently for $80 (plus taxes I assume). I may just go with what my friend got for us since it's about a $30 difference. I understand sometimes hotels put priceline "people" in crappy rooms. Thanks,MonicaPS: Thansk for the info. Just wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything about the 3.5 versus 4 star hotels.
