I never even received a counter-offer on any of these bids. I know the film festival is starting around these dates, but seriously are the hotels completely full? Any tips for getting a decent hotel in the downtown area?

HOTWIRE has a 4* hotel in the Downtown East zone for $179 (best guess the Sutton Place) and a 3.5* in the Downtown East zone for $99 (best guess the Delta Chelsea)... are either of these of interest?
