Isamu66 Posted August 29, 2011 Report Posted August 29, 2011 I've been trying to bid on the weekend of 10/14 - 10/16 for preferably a 5 star...It looks like a lot of the 5 stars on the regular Priceline site (Aria, Cosmo, etc.) are around ~$300.Today, I bid up to $155 per night...but no luck. With 5 stars in the $300 range, what do you guys think I need to bid up to get the room? Thanks!Charles
AaronJB Posted August 29, 2011 Report Posted August 29, 2011 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Are you looking for 5* North Strip, 5* South Strip or both? Additionally, what would be your desired max budget per night?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Isamu66 Posted August 30, 2011 Author Report Posted August 30, 2011 Hi Aaron,Thanks for the reply. Ideally, north or south doesn't matter. At most I'd like to spend around $150, but I understand if it needs to be higher.I'm just trying to get a sense of what I need to bid up to. I tried looking at the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins for this period, but all I saw was something for Trump Condo, which I don't want. Thanks again!CC
thereuare Posted August 30, 2011 Report Posted August 30, 2011 With 5* hotels currently seeing for $300+ thru retail non-opaque channels, i'm guessing you're likely looking at $250+ for these dates to be successful.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
