Priceline Hotel: Need help with rebidding

Hey guys, I tried to change zone combinations, closed my browser, followed the PRICELINE link I found on this board but the system finds my old trip as soon as I enter my name and credit card.

"We were not able to process this request since our records indicate you have already made a request for this same trip."

I don't understand what the trick is.

There isn't any trick to it. You just have to make absolutely sure you are doing something different in that 24 hour period - new dates, new zones, lower star level (higher doesn't count). Why don't you post more detail as to what you were doing, and somebody will be able to help you sort it out?

What are your trip dates? Zone(s) you actually want? Desired star level? Maximum budget?

The bidding strategies supplied are built to not do any repeating, so they do indeed work in the 24 hour period.

The 24 hour clock seems to reset every time one does anything. And sometimes it does seem like there are gremlins/bugs/?? involved, and the only thing to do is wait out a full 24 hours to clear everything out.

Yup - add things, not subtract things. If you happen to be bidding New York City 4* (probably the most common bid here), in addition to the zone(s) you want there are 6 free rebid zones. So you can bid the one(s) you want, and then start adding those free ones as you work your bid up.
