I had reserved the room on their website at a AAA rate of $72 per night with cancellation pivileges.

I then got on Hotwire to see a 3.5* property. The only 3.5* in Carefree is this resort, and a 5* Boulders Resort. Since the 3.5* was listed at $50, I went to Priceline to see if I could get it for less. The only 3.5* they had listed in Carefree was this same resort. A $48 bid for a 3.5* or above was rejected. I then finished the Hotwire acceptance at the $50 rate and it was confirmed as getting the same Carefree Resort place I had a regular reservation on at a $22 per day savings. I then cancelled the regular reservation and have a better price then I could have imagined.
