Priceline Hotel: 4* Indianapolis (Downtown) University Place

Wife wanted two more days in downtown Indianapolis and hoped to get the University Place Hotel so she didn't have to move hotels. Priceline wouldn't let her extend the stay at the previous rate. I checked Hotwire and they had a hotel with amenities that suggested the University Place for $66. So, figuring I could save a few dollars using the PRICELINE link, I bid $45 and was rejected. They suggested an immediate rebid of $62, so I knew I was getting close. There are 6 or 7 free rebidding zones at the four star level. Bids for $48, 50, and 54 were rejected. $56 was accepted.

Room: $112 for two nights

Taxes/fees: $26.86

Total: $138.86
