At first I had many failed bids for Monday Sept 12- Sept 13 in the zone of NMA-River North and The Loop, bidding up to $83 for a 2* and up.

Then decided to change our travel date to Sunday Sept 11 - Sept 12 and won on the first try, getting upgraded from a 3* to a 4*.

First Bid: 3* Sept 11-12 (NMA - River North)...$75

Accepted and upgraded to 4* Marriott Mag Mile.

Room Subtotal: $75.00 (USD)

Taxes and Fees: $19.06 (USD)

Total Room Cost: $94.06 (USD)

We are very happy about the location of this property and hope it's as nice as it looks! I couldn't find any reviews on this hotel, however. We aren't too picky so I'm sure we'll be pleased :)

Now I'm curious how much cheaper I could have gone if I had started the bid lower?!
