SCLflyer Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Hey! Could anyone help me with a bidding strategy for a 3 or 4 star hotel on downtown toronto for a stay beginning on July 12 till July 17? Thanks everyone for this great site! BTW, I've heard in this forum that usually 3* hotels are better located (froma tourist or fun point of view) than the 4*'...how true is this?SCL Flyer
thereuare Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Do you have a maximum bid in mind? Would you rather try for a 4* first or a lesser expensive 3*? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
SCLflyer Posted June 7, 2005 Author Report Posted June 7, 2005 I'm thinking of $50 as a max ...according to what I see in this forum that should be a 3 star hotel... it seems the Courtyard is a good 3* to stay. Thanks for your fast reply!
thereuare Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 You have two re-bid zones available...Select 3* Downtown...Bid $35, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $40, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 3* Downtown and re-bid zone2...Bid $45, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $50.Good Luck and let us know how it goes.
