I have bid for the last 2 days. My highest bids have been:

N. Mich Ave, River north zone- my preferred zone.

4 * $107

3 1/2 * $100

3 * $85

Millinium Park zone- my 2nd choice.

4* $100

3 1/2* $85.

I prefer to be in the N. Mich Ave/River north zone. Do you think I am even close to getting a win? My last bid in that zone, I received the notice "if you raise your bid to $130, we will let you bid again". So I raised it from $100 to $107. The 3 and 4 star hotwire hotels are near $140 and up to $170 in the Gold coast zone.

I do not want to bid any higher in the Millinium park zone.

The moderators will have great advice on the likelihood of your success. My comment is in regards to Priceline's re-bid offer. My experience is that usually the final "accepted" offer falls between your current bid and PL's rebid offer. Hard to identify exactly what price will win, but the last 3 PL bids I had where I was given the rebid opportunity worked out to be just about 1/2 way between my bid and the rebid offer. Use the free rebid zones if you can, unless the mid-point rate is too high for your PL bid in that area. Hope that helps a bit!

If you did get a counter-offer to $130, the likely winning bid is between $100 and $130; I would proceed higher by $3's - $110, $113, $116, $119. Given the rates that I'm seeing, if you were able to get a 4* NMA in the $115-125 area, that would be a good deal.

I would like to raise my 3* and 3 1/2* bids before bidding higher than $107 on the 4*. in the NMA Zone. Is there a way to do that in the same 24 hr period?
