Priceline Hotel: Bidding Assitance: 5* Las Vegas Strip North or South

I am in the Air Force and looking for a hotel like Aria or Vdara for one night. The best I can find is Aria for like 130 and a 75 dollar resort credit.

I have never used priceline nor hotwire so this is very new to me. I just make a bid and HOPE for the hotel I want? Crazy

If you are looking for a specific property then PRICELINE is probably not the best option for you for this stay (HOTWIRE might be, see the link above)... but if you're looking for a great deal and are flexible in your plans regarding which hotel you receive at the minimum star level you designate, then the opaque providers can be a terrific option.

You can see hotels which others have won and reported to the board in the Priceline Hotel List and Hotwire Hotel List.

However, i'll add that if you can get a $75 credit on a one nite stay, and you intend on spending $75 at the hotel, essentially bringing your cost down to $55/nite, that you're not likely going to beat that on PRICELINE. My guess is that you may be looking at ~$75 or so on PRICELINE, but not be tied into spending money at the hotel in order to make use of the credit.
