BillW Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 Used the PRICELINE link and started with $120 for a 4 star on the South Strip for 9/9 to 9/11. Got rejected and then took the priceline offer to rebid same request at $140. It was accepted. I came out saving 19% according to Priceline. I am assuming this is a discount off the pricing if the PH room has been bought directly from Priceline. Probably could have done the incremental bidding and gotten it for less but honestly, I could not see how to expand territories to where only a 4 star on the South Strip would be won. I was concerned that I would end up in another location. Anyway, let me know opinions on how I came out.
