timtanium1111 Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 I have been looking at this site lately, trying to get a pulse on some of the Priceline hotel prices in the 3-4 star range. Lots of information was helpful. I was able to get a 3.5* Marriot Downtown Portland for $95/night. We have been trying over and over again, with no luck until today. I didn't use the link to get to Priceline, mainly because I kept reading that people should do it, but never heard why, and still don't know why. What are the advantages of going through the link? Anyhow, just thought I would let people know what we were able to get.Update... Dates actually 8/26/11-8/28/11. 2 nights.
AaronJB Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 Congrats on your success and Welcome to Betterbidding.Very nice deal for Portland - can you confirm which Marriott you did get? There are two in this location.Using the site's PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links - as well as the other links in the Support/Travel section - helps support the site. It would be greatly appreciated if you could use the links to start future purchases and searches. Thanks.Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
timtanium1111 Posted August 23, 2011 Author Report Posted August 23, 2011 The exact hotel name is Portland Marriot City Center. Hope that helps. Thanks.
