Hotwire Hotel: Help Id 1*, 2*, 2.5* Niagara Falls

Hi!

I already booked a room for Sept 2nd, and I am looking to either join my friends in a room that they have booked for Sept 3rd, or booking my own room through hotwire, depending on what hotel it is.

Do you really want to stay in a 1* rated hotel?? What is your budget for this solo nite?

We need to reserve 3-4 rooms for that night to celebrate a birthday party. Our budget is quite tight for the one night. $150 for a room if it is a decent place, and $120 or so for a 1 star if it is decent. But now not sure if I want to book a 1 star hotel, after your reaction :). We are not going to spend much time in the room, but it still needs to be clean and cockroach free!

We held a room at the howard johnson for $350 for the 7 of us. We would prefer all having separate rooms depending on the price and name of hotel/motel.

Hi!

I was searching for 3 rooms (we will be 6 at the end). It looks like some of the prices and some of the hotels have changed since last night when I posted my question. This is what is left and in our price range.

2 1/2 * Niagara Falls West are hotel

Pool(s)

Restaurant

High-Speed Internet Access

This is the one we are most interested because of the price.

We may consider this one too, but it is a little more than we wanted to pay for.

My best guess for the 2.5* is the Ramada Plaza Niagara Falls while my guess for the 2* is the Howard Johnson Express Inn Niagara Falls.

The Ramada is too far from the falls area, so I tried bidding on priceline for 2 star hotels and up for 3 rooms. My highest bid was $120, but it was declined as well. We decided to stick with the room we booked at the Howard Johnson at $350/night for the 6 of us. We would have preferred separate rooms, but the prices are too high for that weekend.
