Knew I could extend the Redondo Beach Hotel for 3 days but after looking at new flights decided to try to get near LAX. Got the Hilton on second try for $60 (first try was $55 and given the upgrade to $66 pitch which tells me there are rooms available I just have to find the magic number and it is usually lower than what they offer) thus could save a day on car rental and the convenience is priceless. Then decided to try again for Sat and Sun nights which we still didn't have a room and also got the Hilton for $60. Checked and both hotels charge $22 for parking. So we are happy campers. Doing 2 bids was a little more expensive than doing the 3 nights at once but I only have myself to blame. Total for 2 nights $$148.30 and total for Monday night was $76.49. Link to comment
