Priceline Hotel: Cambridge 3 or 3 1/2 hotel

I am trying to get a hotel in Cambridge, my budget is 100-115 max, for 3 or 3 1/2 hotel. I could even go for 2 plus. Dates are 08/28/2011 to 01/09/2011. I tried priceline this morning and was not successful. By rebidding - i think you mean adding the zone. I added several zones that didn't have same star hotels in the zone and I have exhausted all the options. There are only three locations that don't have same star hotels.. I tried adding all of them and was rejected again. Now it won't let me to bid. I need until I change something.. I don't know what to change to get a 3 or 3 1/2 hotel in Cambridge. Dates are firm. Do I have to wait another 24 hours... is there a way around it. This is my second time on the priceline so I am pretty inexperienced. Any help would be highly appreciated. There are a number of discussion on free rebids. One is here: Priceline Re-Bidding Explained Assuming I've counted right, there are 5 free rebid zones at the 3 1/2* level and 2 at the 3* level. There was even 1 at the 2 1/2* level.

When you think you've got it figured out, you can post back here what those zones are and somebody will double check your understanding.

Yes, after you've used up all your free rebid options, you have to wait 4 hours.

I'm guessing your dates are 8/28-9/9, rather than what you posted?

Is Cambridge the only zone that could work for you? The more zones one is willing to consider, the better the likelihood of success at a good rate.
