Happy Puppy
We stayed one night at the downtown Omni in Richmond, VA. There was no evidence of any Priceline snobbery. We received an excellent room at the end of the hall which is a corner King. The windows on two sides of the room allowed for a lot of natural light which is very pleasant. The view out the windows were very nice as well. The decor for the room is sleek and modern. It really was just a tremendously nice room.Location is in the downtown business district area. Carytown (shopping and dining) is a short drive away. And if you are driving, their parking rates seem a little odd. Self-park was $21, but valet was $20 with in and out privileges. How odd. Service from all staff were excellent. Another oddity was their wi-fi. They charge for wi-fi unless you are a loyalty program member. I wasn't so I signed up (it's free), just to get the no charge wi-fi. Overall, it lives up to the 4-star rating. Link to comment
