Vegas, worth it now

So before I wouldn't bid for Vegas cause there was always a hotel in the zone I did not want to stay at. I think I'm going to go for

Las Vegas (Strip North)

5* Palazzo REVIEW

5* Venetian REVIEW

5* Wynn REVIEW

Question, Does anyone know when block rooms get released? Usually I think it's about 30-day, just hoping to bid when there is high supply. :)

There is no set point when rooms are released, each hotel does it according to their own own occupancy leves, business plans, revenue model, etc. There are many instances where bids are accepted months in advance and when another user tries closer to arrival they are unsuccessful... and where bids previously rejected are accepted closer to arrival.

However, i'll add that rates in Vegas fluctuate more so then just about any other hotel market i've seen... my advise, and especially for Vegas, is to 'know' what a good price would be for your dates; then bid early and on the low end of the expected range, gradually increasing your maximum bid as you get closer to your arrival.
