Hotwire Hotel: 5* Las Vegas (Strip North) Palazzo

I found this forum and love it. I have been using the links for my HOTWIRE and PRICELINE searches.

I appreciated your information regarding the rebid zones. I am looking for a 5 star hotel in Vegas. I know that the Henderson and the Lake Las Vegas zones don't have 5 star hotels in them. What are the other zones that I could use for rebidding?

If you read the above and are confused just post back and we'll break it down further. NOTE that you have ELEVEN re-bid zones available when bidding 5* in the Las Vegas area, see if you can identify them all and either confirm them with the board or ask for help with further explanation of re-bidding.

Thank you for your reply. I found all eleven zones (using your link for PRICELINE of course).

We would like to stay around $150 a night, but would be willing to go up to $170. We would also be okay with not having a 5 star hotel, but we definaetly want to be on the strip. I just thought bidding on a 5 star hotel was the safest search to learn the re-bidding with. Our travel dates are 8/19-8/21. We have decided last minute to take a mini vacation. :)

A co-worker actually recommended this forum when I told her I was researching hotels in New York City of September. I will start bidding on that one soon. Kudos on having a helpful site that is easy to use!!

We didn't have a successful bid on PRICELINE up to $145. I decided to look over HOTWIRE again and found the propery above.

Your ID was spot on. We ended up getting the Palazzo for $148 per night. I just saw that someone got the same hotel for cheaper for the same dates. . . DANG! Oh well, it was 5 star for the price range I wanted. We are happy!!
