Priceline Hotel: Help: Summerlin Resort - Only Red Rock?

Hi there,

Are there any other resorts currently active in Vegas/Summerlin > Resorts other than Red Rock?

We have some family staying at Red Rock on the weekend of 8/26 and would like to priceline a room and meet them if possible. I see several fairly recent wins for Red Rock under resort/summerlin, but the hotel list shows jw marriott as well. The last win i see for the JW is something like 07. Still active or is RedRock a safe bet to win? We'd hate to get the JW by accident.

Does the board moderator or anyone else have any knowledge on this?

Thanks. The bidding seems prime for this as there are something like 14 other zones that do not have a "resort" listed.

There is no announcement made if/when a hotel stops participating with PRICELINE's "Name Your Own Price". There are times when a hotel disappears and does not get reported as a win for a few years, then all of a sudden it re-appears. You can either take the risk that the current trend will continue, or you may want to consider HOTWIRE where you can take an educated guess as to the property being offered.

Keep in mind that when bidding on PRICELINE, the star rating you select is the minimum that you are willing to accept, so when bidding for Resort class properties, any zone with 5* hotels is NOT a re-bid zone since your 'resort' class bid could be upgraded to a 5* hotel.
