3* Hotel San Francisco:

I'm looking for at least 3star hotel in San Franciso for a max bid of 100$.

Area's

Fisherman's Warf

Union Square West

Union Square East

Financial District

Soma (probably also ok but don't remember this neigbourhood.

Don't have really a preference between these as long as these are safe. One day we will visit more Fisherman's Warf/Alcatraz and the other more in the city sightseeing and Sausolito probably.

Maybe also hotel with parking spot included or affordable parking not to far (max. 25$ a day) but this is not too important.

For your information, I already tried a little bit for Fishermans Warf but without success. All other area's are rebidding zones

Are you willing to pay more for a higher rated hotel OR is your goal the least expensive 3* or better in any of your acceptable zones? Did you want to include SOMA in your bidding or not?

After a quick look at HW, I'm pretty sure you're going to have to go to the higher end of your bidding limit. Prices look pretty high and there's not that much availability.

Can you get a 3* for $100 or under? I don't know, but I'd probably start getting there and exploring all the options using free rebids.

I'm willing to pay more for a higher rated hotel but a bid of 100$ is the maximum. Let's say I prefer to have a 100$ 3,5 star then a 90$ 3 star. However a 70$ 3 star is better than a 100$ 3,5 star. That's why I used to sessions for Fishermans' Warf, one for the 3 star and one for the 3,5 star.

And Soma can be added if this is a good neighbourhood otherwise I prefer to leave it out.

I think I will indeed need to increase my bids.

Any more suggestions are welcome; I will definitely try my approach for Fisherman's Warf tonight again, if possible with higher bids for 3* and 3,5* and then maybe copy this approach to other regions but I think there should be a way to do it more systematically for all regions.

Since you don't know if a 3.5* is available at $100 nor if a 3* is available at $70, what do you want to try first... how high do you want to bid for a 3.5* before trying for a 3* hotel at lower levels? At the 3.5* level, which zones are acceptable?
