Priceline Hotel: NYC 3*+ Sep 22-sep25

Hey guys,

I'm planning a trip to New York in September with a max budget of $150/night. I have no real preference for location as long as it's close to public transport/attractions. Is $150/night reasonable? any bidding strategies and/or recommended locations? Thanks in advance.

The United Nations is in session during these dates and rates in NYC are very expensive, that based upon current rates i think $150 or a 3* or better hotel is going to be difficult.

If you want to give it a try, please confirm:

MTE - has some hotels which are up to a 15 minute walk to the subway, is this acceptable?

CPS - has the Hudson Hotel which is centrally located, but has notoriously small rooms... would this be acceptable?

Thanks for the reply. a 15 minute walk to the subway is not a problem and the small rooms, although not preferable, are okay. After some research, i was unable to find which meetings you were referring to...in any case i will definitely use the provided links and keep you posted.
