Marmarinka Posted August 15, 2011 Report Posted August 15, 2011 It was my very first experience with Priceline and think it was very successfull!! :) Thanks for the experience placed on this site!! :) VERY USEFULL!But I have a Question about taxes. According to the information from booking.com they are 14.75% + $3.5 per night. So it is 88.5 + 14 = $102.5But Priceline shows me:Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $150.00 (USD)Number of Rooms: 1Number of Guests Per Room: 2Number of Nights: 4Room Subtotal: $600.00 (USD)Taxes and Fees: $132.28 (USD)Total Room Cost: $732.28 (USD)
benficafan Posted August 15, 2011 Report Posted August 15, 2011 I don't have an answer for you (sorry) and i don't want to stray off topic... but how did you get that deal? what criteria/starting price did you use? thanks.
Marmarinka Posted August 15, 2011 Author Report Posted August 15, 2011 I chose five zones: TS + MTW +MTE + ESB +CPS and used 6 re-bid zones. Started $100 and was successful on my 5-th step - $150Sorry, my Engish is not excellent, if you still have questions I'll try to explain. :)
AaronJB Posted August 15, 2011 Report Posted August 15, 2011 Congrats on your success and Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Superb deal for this MTE property! Glad you are pleased with the result.I believe PRICELINE has higher fees than booking.com which would account for the difference.Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
