Famedflea Posted August 15, 2011 Report Posted August 15, 2011 Just staying in Chicago with my wife for one night to get out of Michigan. Looking to say in the north river area. Is this usually a busy time in Chicago? and when should I start bidding to ensure a great room and a great price? My friend uses PRICELINE all of the time with great results, so far I have not had any and am not willing to pay over $130 before taxes.
thereuare Posted August 15, 2011 Report Posted August 15, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding!Based upon current prices i think you have a pretty good chance at being successful at $130 or less for a 4* hotel. When bidding 4* in this region you have SIX re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 4* NMA...Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $130Any questions feel free to ask (especially regarding re-bidding and confirming your zones with the board if you're unsure)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes.
