BenMoon
My first bid for $155 was accepted. I feel confident that I couldn't have gotten a successful bid much lower. The interesting thing to me is that Hotwire had the Westin for $222 and Sheraton for $202. It was only after choosing the vacation package option on Hotwire that I saw the Hyatt Regency show up. Strangely enough, Hyatt's rates were cheaper than both the Westin and Sheraton in the vacation package section. Because of this, I took a stab at bidding on priceline with the intention of getting the Hyatt. Luckily enough I did, and now I get to us my Diamond status with Hyatt to upgrade my measly $155/nt priceline rate to something much better than a garden view room. Link to comment
