thereuare
We are trying to keep the budget low.'Low' means different things to different people... what is your maximum bid price for this stay?I'm happy with anything above a 3 star. Are you willing to pay more for a 4* vs. a 3.5* vs. a 3* OR is your goal the least expensive 3* or better for this stay?Let us know the above and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... please click this PRICELINE link before replying. Colfax
When bidding for a 3* in LA you've got TWO rebid zones. Those are zones that only have less than 3* quality hotels. If you need help ID'ing your two rebid zones please ask. Here's my susggestion:Starting with the PRICELINE link, select 3* Hollywood and bid $65.Add rebid #1 and bid $75.Add rebid #2 and bid $85.If rejected exit Priceline, close browser, reaccess PRICELINE, select 3* BevHills-WeHo and bid $65.Add rebid #1 and bid $75.Add rebid #2 and bid $85.If rejected exit Priceline, close browser, reaccess.Select 3* Hollywood + BevHills-WeHo and bid $90.Add rebid #1 and bid $100.If rejected exit, close, reaccess.Select 3* Hollywood + BevHills-WeHO + rebid #2 and bid $110.Add rebid #1 and bid $120.Good luck and let us know how it goes. Colfax
On closer reading I see you prefer Beverly Hills-WeHO over Hollywood. The strategy above was aimed towards getting the least expensive available in either Hollywood or WH-BH. If you want to bid to your $120 limit in BH-WH first, before trying Hollywood at all, I suggest this:Select 3* BH-WH and bid $65If rejected add rebid #1 and bid $75If rejected, exit Priceline, close browser, and start a new bid.Select 3* BH-WH + rebid #2 and bid $85If rejected add rebid #1 and bid $95.If rejected wait 24 hours and repeat, but starting at $100 instead of $65.If BH-WeHo fails to your limit then try Hollywood after.
