Priceline Hotel: vegas for 7/1-7/5

hi all - this is a great site and i'm looking to get the best deal possible for las vegas july 1 - july 5th. looking for on strip - 5* (bellagio or venitian hopefully)

suggestions on how to get started??

How much are you willing on spending? Are you willing to split your bid?

The rates for your nights have gone up over the past few weeks, so obtaining it at $99 for Sunday & Monday nights probably won't happen.

Current Rates: Fri $199.00, Sat $279.00, Sun $199.00, Mon $219.00

is splitting my bid getting different rates on different nights of my stay?

my max would be between $125 - $150

Based upon current rates i think you can only be successful for one or two nites given your maximum bid.

Splitting the bid not only involves different pricing during your stay, but the possibility that you'll change hotels as well.

what if i drop from 5* to 4, 4.5*?? is my max bid more in line with this level?

Yes.

Given the price changes over the course of your stay (and not splitting your bid) makes Priceline a tough win in this instance.

But here are some hotels within your budget (used our Las Vegas Rate Checker):

MIRAGE for $154/nite

NYNY for $150/nite

TREASURE ISLAND for $132/nite

Also availalbe thru their websites:

Monte Carlo for $120/nite

Paris for $150/nite

mirage, paris, nyny or treasure island would be acceptable. (i may look at making a one night stay at the bellagio just for the experience on monday july 5th).

how do i go about using priceline to get the lowest rate for nights 1-3 at the hotels listed above??

Did you read the splitting your bid link? Because of the price changes throughout your stay i don't think that Priceline is a viable option for you.

are all available thru the links provided... no guesswork as far as the hotel.

If you end up booking the BELLAGIO for one nite please use this link to do so (as well as use all of the links above for your other purchases)

If you're looking to 'experience' a 5* hotel (and not necessarily the Bellagio per se) i do think you could have good success for the Venetian on the nite of 7/5).
