Edit: I forgot to note my dates, 10/4/11 - 10/9/11. Am I better off trying to book these closer to my travel dates because the hotels are trying to offload the rooms they didn't rent?

This would be a possible match for the Holiday Inn Beacon Hill or Bulfinch.

The issue with waiting is that if prices are this high at this point - which isn't that far out - this period may be busy and prices could stay the same or head higher if you wait. There is certainly the possibility that prices could go either way - and there's no way to know.
