keep up the good work you all. Referenced this board for booking, would like to contribute. the first-screen where the bidding starts, i clicked each area and noted down the star-rating hotels are available in that zone.

started my bid at $45, $3 increment. In re-bidding screen , chose the "zone" where there ain't any 4* hotels.

At $51 bid, priceline gave counteroffer for $70. didn't accept it.

my bid accepted at $64

PRICELINE guarantees one bed/double occupancy, but it does not guarantee specific bed types. If you would like a specific bed type, it is best to call/write the hotel and make a request. However, keep in mind that the hotel could say no whether due to policy or availability.

If you run into a considerable issue with the hotel, I would contact PRICELINE.
