deadesq Posted August 8, 2011 Report Posted August 8, 2011 After going upwards of $160/night in downtown SF, which I know from many past bids will have another $50 in parking charges added on when I get to the hotel, I decided that for the one night I'll be in SF, I'll do the drive from my conference location to the airport hotels to save some money. I couldn't even get the 3.5* in downtown for $160 (which put me over $200 with taxes), but I got a 4*, Hilton Bayfront, near the airport, for $75+taxes for a total of $94. I know I will spend a lot less in gas and parking in the City than the difference between the two, so I'm planning on a nice dinner in the City with the savings!I used the PRICELINE link here to start.
deadesq Posted August 8, 2011 Author Report Posted August 8, 2011 Just because I like to know I'm saving money, I rated the same room directly through Hilton's website. With taxes, it would have been $144. So, savings of $50 through Priceline.
