naft11 Posted June 3, 2005 Report Posted June 3, 2005 Hi guys, I just found out about the concept of vacation bidding today. Can someone help me out with a trip to PR for July 4- July 7? I want a nice hotel 4 star. Is it cheaper to go with Priceline vacation packages? Thanks so much.Oh, its for myself, wife, and infant
thereuare Posted June 3, 2005 Report Posted June 3, 2005 Welcome to BetterBidding!Usually putting the components together on your own is cheaper.Lots of questions...How old is the infant? (own seat or sitting a parent's lap?) Where would you be traveling from? Are you looking at San Juan only or anywhere in Puerto Rico? What is your expected budget? naft11 Posted June 3, 2005 Author Report Posted June 3, 2005 The baby is about 9 months, so we will prob keep her on our lap if that's cheaper. I looked at some flights on Orbitz and it seems really expensive for the flight - the packages come out cheaper. I want to keep the whole trip under 750 if thats possible.Traveling from Newark (NJ)Anywhere in Puerto Rico, as long as I can drive to San Juan
thereuare Posted June 3, 2005 Report Posted June 3, 2005 What is your "best deal" so far so we have an idea of what you're trying to beat. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
naft11 Posted June 10, 2005 Author Report Posted June 10, 2005 Sorry about not responding to anyone subscribing. This trip was cancelled because of the hassle involved with taking an infant on a plane.
