Hotwire Hotel: Help with Dublin Hotel in December

Hi All

I'm looking for a hotel in Dublin for 10th to 12th of December 2011. Hotwire has given me the following:

3* Dublin South Inner City area hotel - GBP36 per room per night

Only amenieties it shows are Internet Access

Tripadvisor Rating 2.5/5

Also:

4* Dublin North area hotel - GBP54 per room per night

Amenities: Fitness Centre, Pool, Restaraunt, Internet Access

Does anyone have any idea which hotels these could be?

Please provide the star rating of each hotel. Additionally, I'd be extremely concerned by a property with a 2.5/5 tripadvisor rating.

The top one was 3 star and the bottom one 4 star.

Although I just ran the search again and the prices seem to have gone up! They are

Neither of these properties have been reported to the board... a guess for the 4* would be the Clarion at Irish Financial Services Center; i don't have a guess for the 3*.

We were tempted by the cheaper 3 star hotel but as you said 2.5/5 on tripadvisor waasn't great so we have decided to go for a hotel that was recomended by a work colleague.
