Priceline Hotel: 9/17-9/20 Las Vegas

I ususally use priceline to bid hotel when travel, but this time for Las Vegas, it seems I can get a better deal to book directly from hotel's website with promotion code.

My trip is from 9/17 to 9/20, and as we all know those biddings are very high recently.

Do you think it's still worth to try priceline bidding?

Another questions is the price for weekend are really high, that's why I plan to book another hotel for only one day weekend before I can move to Wynn.

That doesn't matter because I'll arrive late at 9/17 and I need to pickup a car at airport.

Do you have any hotel recommendation for that weenend day?
