fracmeister Posted August 7, 2011 Report Posted August 7, 2011 My wife and I want to stay at the Grand America in a few weeks and would like to grqab something cheaper than the 189$ a night weekend rate. On priceline the Grand America is the only one that shows up as a 5* if you just try and book a room. Anyone have any luck with it bidding? Thanks.
thereuare Posted August 7, 2011 Report Posted August 7, 2011 Please add the date(s) of your stay to your previous threads. In regards to your post above, there is no 5* bidding offered in the Salt Lake City area thru PRICELINE's "Name Your Own Price" service. If you enter "Salt Lake City" and your dates into the search box on the top right of this page you'll be taking to the bidding page for this area, and if you look at the star ratings offered, it only goes as high as 4* at this time. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... and your searches too! fracmeister Posted August 7, 2011 Author Report Posted August 7, 2011 I see. They do offer it to make a direct reservation, but are offering exactly the same rates as I could get on the hotel website. Not a compelling reason to use PRICELINE on that reservation. Thanks
