ScooterMcTavish Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 This was my latest win, and a reasonable rate for a hotel in this area that serves a complimentary breakfast. it's actually $20/night cheaper on Hotwire than the non-cancellable rate offered through a popular booking site.Amenities listed were:Airport ShuttleComplimentary BreakfastFitness CentrePoolBusiness CentreLaundry FacilitiesHigh Speed InternetOf course, searched for and booked through the HOTWIRE links at the top.
ScooterMcTavish Posted August 5, 2011 Author Report Posted August 5, 2011 And things get even better!I sent the hotel an e-mail this morning with my Hotwire confirmation #, and wanted to confirm that if the hotel was not 100% non-smoking that we would prefer a non-smoking room.Not only did I get a polite and prompt reply confirming the hotel was 100% non-smoking, I also received the good news that my Hotwire booking secured me a King Suite, worth at least $50 more than what I bid on Hotwire. Looking like it was a really good win!
