This was my latest win, and a reasonable rate for a hotel in this area that serves a complimentary breakfast. it's actually $20/night cheaper on Hotwire than the non-cancellable rate offered through a popular booking site.

And things get even better!

I sent the hotel an e-mail this morning with my Hotwire confirmation #, and wanted to confirm that if the hotel was not 100% non-smoking that we would prefer a non-smoking room.

Not only did I get a polite and prompt reply confirming the hotel was 100% non-smoking, I also received the good news that my Hotwire booking secured me a King Suite, worth at least $50 more than what I bid on Hotwire. Looking like it was a really good win!
