choco901 Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 I used Priceline and got a deal for $160/night + tax ($379.60 for 2 nights) Trip dates from 09/16-09/18.I used the PRICELINE links from here but I don't know how to write my result at the end :)Sorry if this place is not the right place to post this.... this is my first time bidding with Priceline....I've started from $90.00 and raised $10 each time... and ended up $160/night (i thought this included tax but they added tax at the end) this system asked me to put $170/night but i entered $160.....But bed is not guranteed so should I call them tomorrow to ask for 2 beds??? If I want to do early check-in, should I let them know know??thanks a lot..
thereuare Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding!Congratulations on your success! You can call the hotel and request a room with two beds, but note that room assignments are at the hotel discretion and they may not be able, or willing, to assign you a room with two beds. If they tell you that room can't guarantee it, ask them to put a note in the system with your request. As far as early check-in, this will be based upon what is available at the time you check-in (how early it is and if rooms have been cleaned yet... largely based upon how busy the hotel was the nite before your arrival) and i don't think requesting this beforehand will have any effect one way or the other.Thank you for sharing your win and using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay.
