Priceline Hotel: 4* Las Vegas (Convention Center) Renaissance

Hi,

Just looking for a little guidance as this is all new to me. I am hoping to stay at on or very near to the strip on Thursday 8/18, Friday 8/19, and Saturday 8/20. I am hoping to spend no more than $100 per night. I just bid $90 ($85 + $5 bonus) for a 5* in all zones that included the word "Strip". No luck though. I would prefer 5* but will settle for 4* as long as it is safe for kids. What would a more seasoned bidder do at this point?

How many are in your party - if you need more than one bed, I'd recommend considering HOTWIRE, as PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy/1 bed - HOTWIRE allows one to indicate the amount of people in the party. What would be your desired max budget at the 5* level before trying 4*?

Is the Westin close enough to the strip for your needs? What about Trump?
